After the filer completes all sections of the previous screen (selecting the party filer, uploading the PDFs, and selecting the previous related entry if required), the Additional Information screen opens. The screen is divided into two sections: Additional Information and Service.
1. A pull-down list related to the type of filing is displayed in the Additional Information section at the top of the screen. Because this is an example of a motion in opposition, the Opposition to pull-down list is displayed. Open the pull-down list and select the type of document being filed.
2. The Service section at the bottom of the screen requires the filer to enter the service date of the filing and select one or more means of service. Enter the date in the Service Date box in mm/dd/yyyy format. Select the means of service by clicking the appropriate checkbox(es).
3. After making the appropriate selection from the pull-down list and entering the service date and selecting the means of service, click the Continue button at the bottom of the screen.
The next step is to review and confirm the filing event.
